Do you need a straight up portrait?
I will spend a couple of hours with you taking your portrait in a couple of different locations so the background is varied. Bring a couple of different options for clothing, neutral colours and classic styles are best. You can use these images for a personal profile or a professional one, please let me know which you would prefer so I can prepare and be ready for suggestions with locations on the day. I use natural light to shoot and often shoot outside, I have artificial light and can shoot inside too.
Due to COVID 19 I am currently not shooting in my home studio, I am open to shooting on location with you and will bring sanitizer and shoot in a mask to keep us both safe.
These shoots will cost you $250 + tax and include all of the low resolution JPGS shot on the day in colour and black and white and 3 edited final images.
At this time I am not offering prints, I can recommend several places that do great printing.
I will add a drawing of an image you select from our shoot and create a continuous line drawing, featured here is the process video of creating the drawing. This is an additional $100 + tax and will give you a printable file at 300 dots per inch.
Social media & branding
Need a library of ready to post photos?
This is your package. We will shoot as many looks and locations as we can fit into your 2, 3 OR 4 HOUR SHOOT. Build your brand. Promote your brand.
2 HOUR SHOOT ..................................... $650 + tax
This allows for 4-6 looks and you will receive a minimum of 60 photos that have been processed and are ready for posting + 3 DETAIL EDITED IMAGES.
3 HOUR SHOOT ..................................... $750 + tax
This allows for 6-8 looks and you will receive a minimum of 80 photos that have been processed and are ready for posting + 5 DETAIL EDITED IMAGES.
4 HOUR SHOOT..................................... $850 + tax
This allows for 8-10 looks and you will receive a minimum of 100 photos that have been processed and are ready for posting + 7 DETAIL EDITED IMAGES.
Photoshoot information and tips
location
I live right outside of Stanley Park and I often shoot outside, either in the morning at 10am or later in the afternoon anytime after 2pm. Living outside of the park gives the option of a forest background, a beach background, a concrete background or a garden, or a spot of your choice. I live in a studio and am currently not shooting at home due to COVID 19 restrictions, as soon as those restrictions lift a formal studio setting will be available.

make up artist
Hair & Makeup is very important but also very personal so it is an optional add on.
Depending on the purpose of your photoshoot, you may want to consider hiring a professional hair/makeup artist. Professional hair and makeup undoubtedly makes a great impact on your photos. It also relieves a lot of stress, allowing you to enjoy your shoot to the fullest. I work with a fabulous network of Make Up Artist’s and would be happy to recommend one or work with one of your choice.
Artists' rates vary depending on your needs, package and city. On request, I will happily send you a price sheet quoting you for your specific needs.
Wardrobe
* Bring more than less. I can help sort through your options and test fabrics, fit, and colours on camera to ensure we’re choosing the best look for your needs.
* To make best use of your studio time, please arrive with your clothes pressed. Traveling can cause wear so a steamer will be available in the event that it’s needed.
* Form-fitting, well tailored clothes create clean lines, which helps keep the attention on you. If clothing is baggy it tends to distract from your face, as well as cause a frumpy look. (of course this a rule that can be broken for more editorial / creative looks)
* Textured clothing such as denim, leather, silk and velvet create a beautiful richness.
* On a budget? I am great at hiding, removing, and editing out tags. Feel free to buy clothing and return them after the shoot. Stores such as Zara, Nordstrom and H&M have great return policies.
after your shoot
You will receive all your images via an online gallery within 2-5 days. These images will be low resolution JPG’s. The turn around time for an edited image is 48-72 hours. If you require edited images sooner, be sure to let Farrah know ahead of time.
All images will be kept on file for at least 6 months past your shoot date.
Additional edits are available for $35/photo, 3 for $90 + tax.
deposit
To confirm your booking, a $100 non-refundable deposit is payable within 48 hours of making your booking. Due to a high volume of inquiries and bookings, I am is unable to guarantee your session unless the deposit has been received.
If you need to reschedule your session, 72 hours notice is requested. However, it's understandable that things come in last minute and life can get in the way. If you need to reschedule your booking please email or call with your request to reschedule. photography@freeadmission.ca 604-319-1094
