Well hello, it’s been a minute since I published an editorial and I am glad to be back with one. I took some time in the fall to relax and give my schedule a bit of a break and I am so glad I did. The rest was worth it and it’s good to be back.
In this editorial we have John from Hometeam Models published in Selin Magazine Issue 34 Vol 52. You can get your copy here, the spread is called In the Fall. Not just the season but the one we seem to all find ourselves in.
Kate with Model Made joined me for a beach shoot on a sunny hot afternoon.
The dresses I used were found in the lane, Kate did her own hair and makeup and the birds flew into the frame on cue.

When women create together it is a bit of magic. One amazing Sunday we got together in the studio and had a wonderful time. Our makeup artist Jana brought her doggo Roxy who was on the lam the day before for 6 hours so she was exhausted and we were all so glad to see her.
Christine and Rebecca had not met before but had connected through Social Media. Rebecca planned the look and the feel for the shoot, I provided the location, took the photos and brought Jana onboard too.
I had the idea to recreate a Lindeberg kinda feel in some of the images so I asked them to bring nude pantyhose. Those images were the favourite for all of us of the day. It was so much fun, there was so much trust in the room that day, I will never forget it and will continue to feel honoured to do what I do.
